I have one of those… ’ve been meaning to change it but the savings are great.

That gives me an idea. All my old bulbs are going on eBay as zero consumption lighting.

That’s right! Those CFL bulbs are a JOKE! With added Al Gore mercury to boot! We replaced three bulbs in our bathroom and all of them were out in less than a month. We just stopped!

CFL’s are really a fraud brought to you by big government – they con’t last much longer than a bulb with a filament but they cost significantly more and add those “evil chemicals” to the environment. LED’s are seriously the way of the future.

Could have saved more energy by not going to the trouble to change it. Very funny!

It’s disconcerting to me that my newest bulbs warm up so slowly.

Those bulbs are garbage! Glad I stocked up on the good old regular light bulbs!

Wait for it. Wait for it. It’s going to come on. Any sec now…

Some of you folks have a lamp in the bathroom! What do you do, carry a flashlight with you out in the back yard? I thought the half moon on the door was to let in enough light to get the job done, and at night, all you need to do is bring a match to light the candle…

and @CygnusX1-It started with an act of Congress, not with the Department of Energy or Al Gore. I wonder how much the manufacturers of CFL bulbs ‘invested’ in Congress to buy this result…

If this were a Warner Brothers cartoon, Horace’s head would turn into that of a jackass in the last panel.

The CFL is a good idea gone wrong. They are made in China and do not last at all.
