Reminds me of the Superman episode that was on MeTV, with the “Unknown People” that lived near the oil shaft a certain village had. They showed one of the “human-like” creatures trapped on top of a dam. One shot at him, he fell, and Superman swooped in…but in the cutaway to the effects, you could quickly see the “clay figure” that was dropped from the model of a dam,cut in between the live action…
Interesting that I’m reading this just after rewatching the freeway chase in Terminator II. I heard that the Terminal Island Freeway is planned for removal, so I watched that scene because it was filmed there. Now for the first time I saw cables laid down on the cloverleaf on and off ramps, presumably cables for the extra lights for filming the scene at night. I never noticed that before.

Actually, the horsie prop in the second frame is kind of decent-looking, if rather stiff…

Maybe he should hire Dr. Tongue and Bruno, and make a 3D comic strip.

Is the second panel the stunt horse?

Worst stunt double match I’ve seen was in “The Bishop’s Wife,” in which the protagonist suddenly wears glasses when he skates.

I think I’ve seen the same special effects in A Town Called Panic.

Not only is he cheap, he’s just a hop, skip, and a jump away!
