The Orlando shooter was a born american citizen of immigrant parents, Ex-Military, Democrat, and has been showing signs of instability and radicalization for years – the FBI contacted him at least three times we know of in response from complaints at his workplace (high-end Security firm) about radical tendencies – and they chose to do nothing.
He bought the weapons legally, passing the Federal background checks… And after the incident happens, all of a sudden it’s all the weapons’ fault. Oh, and the semi-auto AR-15 is all of a sudden a “Full Auto Assault Weapon” – all the better to ban you, my dear. 2nd Am. be damned.
We have as much of a Law Enforcement Problem as a Terrorism Problem – Many people “Saw Something and Said Something”, and the Feds dropped the ball – at least three chances. And of course I can guarantee they’ve got plausible deniability for all their (non) actions.
PS: Horace, got a message for you from Pink Floyd: Once is fair use / satire, but don’t do it again.
Subtle, and as an Ace, I appreciate the sentiment. We still have a way to go for people to be able to live their lives without fear, whatever box people put them in.

Doc said to take some broad spectrum antibiotics but this advice just went in one ear and out the other.

I think today Horace expresses sadness with that rainbow for those unspeakable shootings in Florida. Sad, sad, sad!

What a beautiful tribute to those who were so brutally murdered in Orlando. :-(
