I can’t believe that the King of Clubs doesn’t know Big Ace…

That’s just the first of likey cotradictions still to come up margueritem. Trust me there will be more !

Hmm ! No evidence ? So already thinking of some “entrapment” device here ?

Note the ADDRESS for Monte’s Casino. Several days from now Chief Lizz will deploy a Swat team. Locher will have her dispatch the Team to a completey different address. But “somehow” they find Monte’s Casino.

Is Sam called in (?) No ! He’s not even seen, and Locher apparently still has him frozen solid alongside Claude Crystal in the Giant House Freezer ! Guess we won’t be seeing him for a long time.

No wish to spoil the story detals for others, up ahead, but for the first time in now SIXTEEN Years, Tracy actually shoots a man dead ! No it’s not Big Ace !

Thanks to leonneon59 for unlocking the TMS Features Boarb.

Lessee now……. Tracy’s been working Naperville for 75 years and doesn’t know where Monte’s Casino is. Tess needs to give him a GPS for his next birthday.

Not the first SydneyPhillips–the whole thread has been an Amazon-flood of contradictions. (plot-holes, Marg? it’s already looking like a plot-sieve!)

morrow, perhaps Monte’s Casino is a relatively new establishment?

I can’t believe that Tracy is confiding in the K♣, when he knows that the Q♦, J♣, and A♠ are all crooks. You can never trust people that are dressed up like playing cards!

I was thinking the same thing. Also, why is there another Casino when OEJ’s is deserted other than B.O. and a Tess clone? No cars around or other people. Time to start another story and “pretend” this one didn’t exist.

I have never seen such an unorganized comic strip. its like 10 people are tossing after thoughts and nobody cares.

    “He sounds dangerous”

This from a guy who just shot one of his employees in the back.

morrow, He HAS a GPS in his Wrist Geenee ! It’s just that the writer carelessly keeps on forgetting to use it, like an absent minded professor.

Same thing with the Taser function which could have taken out Jack in 10 seconds AND the electrical circuits of the robot, Brute Force, in similar time. But Locher “forgets”! He has Tracy using the Geenee 99% of the time only like a Cellphone. Flawed, defective functions the Woodstock boys don’t even want to hear about. The Emperor can do no wrong !

The Writer has too many distracting things on his plate (Editorial Cartoons, sculpturing, etc) and Tracy often gets the “shaft” ! And as DL moves blithly along “patting himself on the back”, he and his followers somehow see his work magnified “larger than life” through the Hubble Telescope.

Here is a man that “inherited” all the “tools” for the best comic strip in America, then went out and discarded most of them, the “chase” sequence, cavalierly reinventing faces, new images, one where Teevo is profferd as a more meaningful character than Sam. Perhaps Lizz is targeted to go.(?) Visualize the new creator sitting (Teevo by his right side), waiting. in Naperville for the “call” from the Selection Committee saying he has just won the 2009 “Reuben” Award. Talk about delusion ? Heck ! What a year with his Tracy stature on a nearby river bank (the stature the Woodstock Community backed away from).

Must assume the experienced elders there don’t see the “modern” incarnation of the Tracy strip in the same light, or worth a pinch of salt (?) They see it like a heavy stone having sunk to the bottom of the Fox River which flows nearby.

Mattie lives there but he is NOT an elder, and his “quarelsome” phrases have less impact in those circles than they had, say, on this board ! In any event, I’d have to assume he’d vote to “take” the stature for the wrong reason. BECAUSE, Dick Locher designed it, and not because it represented Dick Tracy !

It doesn’t please me to talk thie way about the Author but it’s a condition he invites on himself by insuficient application of time and careless, rushed application. And, at the end of the day unlike others (of a different persuasion), the welfare of the “strip” means more to ME than the good fortune of the Author !

The two are not necessiarily contiguous.
