Mr. Schrecker is president of SBN, ehh? Is he also the owner, comparable to Ted Turner of TBN? Betimes, seems Teddy-boy is suffering the agenbite of inwit.
Man, get a load of that SchreckerHe certainly is one big peckerJust who in the blazes does he think he isDemanding to know Tracy’s bizWhat an arrogant product of the corporation That attitude will never bring about co-operationBut Tracy remains calm and coolNot bothered by the likes of this foolBut he takes it all in strideHe’ll let the lout’s ill manners slideNow we turn out attention to TedWho soon may wish he were deadIf before, Ted thought things were the pitsTracy’s visit will give him the …..Things are about to come to a headNo-where to hide for dear little TedTracy is one he cannot deceiveAnd he will he receive no reprieveFor the problems that were createdBy an ego that couldn’t be satedHe may now be sitting on highSoon though, his career will dieBut with the way things now goHe’ll wind up on Fox with a show.Thank you, BillT, Wiseking, Det.DD, Maxine_Viller, Sardonis(?), Doc 1947G(your welcome) and Chikuku.
I wonder how many more characters are gonna climb onto this wagon. If they add 2 a week for the next 6 months, we’ll be getting back to Don Quick Oatie!
Ah, good job, wndrwrthg. I’m impressed that you can come up with a new one everyday! Speaking of people coming up with original content, whatever happened to that guy that was writing that story or whatever about Annie and Dick Tracy? Ya’ll remember, from a few months ago?
I wonder if Tellum is going to crack and tell his boss what’s going on, and maybe making him an accomplise.New characters, plot developments, great art – really love what Mike, Joe & Co. have done.I first read Dick Tracy back in the Mr. Bribery and Dr. Aorta days, and those stories weren’t as well written as the current team’s work. (Ghoulishly violent, but not as well written.)
When we were first introduced to Ted Tellum, back in the Gould days, when Tracy and Sam were chasing Wormy down a frozen creek, Tellum was a goofy but still very likeable character. Tracy told Lizz that he took too many chances in the interests of ratings, and that was true, but, still, it almost felt as if Tracy liked him a little. His personality has changed a great deal since that early story. I wonder if we will find out why?
Wow- off topic, but I just went back and looked at late July/early August 2001, when Killian and Locher were both still working together, the “Mistress of Death” storyline, and was pleasantly surprised. However it got towards the end, it’s nice to see Locher’s artwork back then, and Killian’s storyline progression.
