Lessee, are there really TWO salts on the table? And is that Dale and Marlene over there to the left? And to the meat of the matter, is Ma paying?

Mornin’, Mikie, and the rest of Crustwood…I see Joy’s menu features beef, beef, and more beef. But don’t worry, Ma — over on MEAT wagon…..mmmm…you can get some pork butt, if you’re looking for “the other white meat….”(Why was that slogan ever allowed?)

Oooh … 75% lean hamburger. Hard to find full fat meat like that.Looks like the waiter at the back table is holding up a raw steak for approval….“Meet your meat”… like choosing your lobster from a tank. And this panel solves a mystery from the other day… YES, Ma has been dyeing her hair for some of the strips.

Mikie, I do think that’s two salts…probably to tempt Ma, who’s supposed to give up salt along with the red meat.Burl will probably tell her to ask for garlic salt instead…. since it’s made out of garlic, rather than salt, right? And yeah, that does look like Dale….. but …uh oh… not Marlene. However, Dale and Burl are at the top of the list of guys I’d believe if they said it wasn’t an affair.I mean, who would…. well… you know…Now that I’ve explained all that, could you pretty please tell me (and probably Dazz and other non-sports-fans) what the heck a Joe Garagiola moment is?

I gave up red meat, that is why, whenever I go into a restaurant I have them marinate my steak in green food coloring before they cook it.

    Morning Crustwood!

The waitress must be having a hard day. Her glasses are upside down.

I want the “Flank Sundae” for dessert; hold the sprinkles-add bacon.

And Ma thinking that well done beef is no longer red is true in a way (no longer edible IMNHO) I love good filet or prime rib but only if it is really RED and tender. I eat a whole lot more turkey breast but also some proscuittto wrapped around dried fruit with a little part skim mozz, some pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Good to have lots of veggie items with a small amount of meat.

Leaky, it was just easily seen off to one side. I just had a buch of little kids come and visit and had to go out in the yard to watch them as they dunked feet and heads in the pool to be sure they were safe (supposedly had parents permission for 15 mins)

Kids just love to see my house with all my artwork and such and love to dip in the pool as well. I have to be very careful to be sure they are all safe.

So silly to eat at a steak house if you do not want red meat! But these ARE the Pennys!

I used to do flank steak when kids were little -it can be done in a reasonable way. I had black beans and yams with turkey yesterday

My eyes were really messed up this morning as I had sparkler images in my eyes and could not see well.
