Yeah, call AGAIN, even though it’s the wrong number for that sort of information!

Marlene’s Toll house recipe calls for Butter. that is the difference,, Joy uses Generic Oleo. (the kind with a plain wrapper that says “oleo” in blue) She still won’t be able to figure out why Marlene’s taste better.

Why would they call Information, I thought they knew it all.

Says the guilty party, looking around for the exit…Burl is so lazy he wouldn’t exhale if he didn’t have to.My son used to call 411 frequently when he lived with us. Now that he pays his own bills he quit that. Strange how that happened.

They’re so dumb they have to call 411 for the 911 number.

Reading Joy’s list…they lost the phone book….so they’re going to call Information for all the numbers.

Then they’ll tell the phone company they shouldn’t have to pay for that.

2Old and Purple…. Marlene’s recipe may call for butter….it may call and call, but I bet it ain’t getting any.Ryan….believe it or not, people DO that.

Not quite as dumb when they call the operator to ask “What’s the number for Information?” ….but some actually say “for 411”

They also call Information to ask things like “where is Zanzibar?” or “How long do I roast a 14 pound turkey.”

hey call jus to hear another voice, ha way they don’t seem so alone in their huge world. I wonder if 411 has caller ID so the people can fight over who will NOT take their call??

Back hen there still was a 411, you were allowed a certain number of calls per month before they started charging 25 cents for each extra. My BIL’s ex-wife once ran up a $30 bill in ONE MONTH for calls to information.

Neither one would walk two steps to find a phone book, of course they use information all the time and probably also use information automatic dial for only 50 cents more, why let your fingers do the walking when someone else’s can do it for you.

I can remember people who used 411 a lot (thinking how silly and lazy they were)I don’t even remember now who DID that, so most likely they were casual acquaintances (friends of my x-husband?) that IS likely.

In those days I had the use of some fancy copy machines that reduced the print out (new to me then) so I still have some of those old copies where my entire phone list was printed on a piece of parchment paper about 4″×12″ and are still clear enough to read. I still keep an ongoing document file with all my family on first page, frequently used stores and contractors/doctors on the second, and my whole “Christmas list” on after that.

Nowadays the first page also has reminders for birthdays and anniversaries (even though my Yahoo calendar has sent me reminders for many years). I also try to get all my family to Skype (and I’d be fine using other similar if they prefer). Only one son uses it frequently – so I can see his “babies” (a pair of Eclectus). He’s the only one of my kids with no children; his x-wife had 2 teens when they married and did not want more. I love the birds, tho’ and enjoy their antics on Skype.

What I don’t understand is, if you’ve lost the cars, why do you keep the keys?

Don’t even know. Where a phone book is. Google everything and store it in my phone. Even addresses
