This is from 2009… and now it’s not just the Pennys.
We laugh at them… but now it’s your neighbors and friends acting like the people we come here every day to mock…
what do we say to them???
Some shelves at Costco are stripped bare, grocery stores are limiting purchases of water, beans, rice, cereal, TP and other staples.
Even people you used to consider reasonable don’t seem to think about their selfishness soon causing hunger, or shortfalls of essentials, among those too old, ill, poor… or merely sensible… to grab mass quantities today.
There have even been fights, not around here, but I saw some on the news…
people getting injured trying to get the last case of bottled water or package of TP.
Is the virus not dangerous enough?
We have, last time I looked, 1500 diagnosed cases of Covid-19 in the whole USA.. most mild, so far…
How many injuries or even deaths.. to say nothing of elderly people running out of food, and having to appeal to charity… will there be, due to panic and greed?
