GL! My hubby got 1 week notice to move across country from our 6 year home and (then find a place for us to live) while I only had a month to pack and move the rest with 2 small little ones. Itâs not fun.
Box-Up and make a comprehensive list of all the non-essentials, move them into a Rent-A-Shed, youâve just cut the stress in HALF. Keep them there until and unless you NEED them at the new place.
Finding the new place I canât help with as Iâm in PA, but good hunting!
Iâve moved cross country TWICE, boxing-up, and having a good list makes things far MORE manageable. Big Number on the end of the box so you can find it in the stack, List everything âBOX #1- such and suchâ as you pack, computers make this list searchable so you can always find things. Needless to say the Computer goes to the new place FIRST!
You are far too far away for any other than Good Luck!.I stress when moving. But I have found one way to move clothes â if already in the dresser drawers, leave them there. Just pull out the drawers when moving the dresser for easy & lighter moving.
In other words, Kitty is already cool, so he doesnât need to climb, whereas a mere dog can climb as high as she wants and never reach the pinnacle that a feline automatically assumes.

If yaâ gotta âtry,â it ainât âCool.â
âCoolâ is effortlesslesly inspirational to all the poor slobs who are watching you in dumbfounded amazement of your individuality.
