My dog is so small, he treats flowers like other dogs do trees. Flowers hate him, too.

Oh dear, you know she loves you, no need to kill the flowers!!!

Maybe what is needed is the A.S.P.C.F. (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Flowers). Or the H.F.S.W. (Humane Flower Society of the World).

That’s not as bad as what he ‘could do’ to (actually ‘on’) the flowers!

Flowers have even #’s of petals. (It has to do with cell division.) So you will always end with the opposite of what you start with.Start with “She loves me not” if you want to end on “She loves me!”

There are two basic kinds of flowering plants out there: the monocots (like corn) and the dicots (like roses).

The monocots (single part seeds) are mostly grasses and have flowers that are based on threes and multiples of threes. So sometimes you get sixes.

The dicots (two part seeds) are the roses, cherries, beans. They generally have five petals. Of course we have messed with that and made multiples of that, too. So you can have 5,10,15, etc.

So, while this is a simple question. I don’t think there is a simple answer. Still, if you now look at a flower and notice if it is a multiple of 3, you can tell it is a monocot; or if it is a multiple of 5, it is a dicot.

My Frangipani flowers have five petals each. So do the flowers on two other plants whose names I do not know. Gotta love the cartoon.
