When I’m in bed send all the notifications you want. If the phone is on its in the kitchen and I won’t hear it, especially over the fans in the summer.
I used to be pretty good about rate and review on Amazon. Since everyone and their sister wants a review, these days, I’m less inclined to accommodate them.
One of the young whippersnappers whose podcasts I follow went on a rant about how nobody reads newspapers anymore. Brat. A bunch of us I-beg-to-differ types set him straight.
The other day I walked past a restaurant, later I got a request on my cell phone to “rate my visit” to said restaurant. I responded with “Less than expected”
I really hate the “give us your email so you can have this in your inbox” message, it will pop up over and over and over on some sites. Some sites won’t even allow you to visit if you don’t “sign up”. So, I have a spam email. It’s one that has never been looked in the whole time I’ve had it, I just leave it and let the would be spammers send all the garbage they want there. Nobody’s home and nobody’s clicking on their trash links.
My devices turn off notifications from like 9 PM to 8 AM or something. Idk, set it a long time ago and other than if i open the device in that time it telling me notifications are off i don’t have to think about it. So I don’t. If one of 2 people texts or calls it will go through but waddya know, they are people who would only call if they needed me to do the next of kin routine in the hospital or something like that.

No lie. Everywhere you go these days wants you to rate them.

Reading print on paper is more relaxing than any Kindle. Trust me. Sometimes progress moves forward by taking a step backwards.

It also doesn’t have frequent pop-up ads making it difficult to read!

It has become impossible for me to donate to causes I like online, as each of them need my email and will start spamming me.
