Larry: (Jees, graduation is almost on me. But chin up, "Last Lap" Larry, something will turn up. Maybe this letter here in your mailbox bears tiding of something bright in your future... "Dear Larry, Just a reminder that you're our boy after you graduate. Love from the beautiful cats at your draft board." I think I preferred the old "Greetings" format.)
I flew out of Nam on my way home 4 years and 1 week before the date on this strip. May 25, 1967. But I wasn’t drafted. I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1964!
