Rufus: I'm going to visit my brother next week. Mike: Your brother? I didn't know you had one. Tell me about him. Rufus: Well, he's kind of a quiet guy. Didn't used to be, though! He used to be loud and arrogant. His passions were boxing and wrestling. Man, he used to work out every day at the "Y." He was in the peak of physical condition. Five hours a day shadow boxing, getting ready for the day. Someone packed a fight with him.... Mike: Why'd he quit? Rufus: His first fith someone stuck him with a knife.
I’m reminded of the Marquis of Queensbury’s list of places where people weren’t allowed to hit him.
