Voice from television: Hi. I'm Geraldo Rivera, and this is a special edition of "Good Night, New York"! Tonight's show concern the fiscal crisis that now embroils the nation's largest city. I personally am very disturbed by it, and I wanted to bring it to the attention of a wide T.V. audience. Among my guest tonight are a former city comptroller, a top union official, and - as my special guest - an admitted member of the fleeing middle class. We'll also have a cop, a junkie, and the mayor. Stay tuned. Mike: Hurry back.
As this was before the affair of Al Capone’s vault, I probably assumed the name “Geraldo Rivera” was invented for the strip.
