Mark: Coming up, a talk with mellow-meister Dan Asher... with a preview of new life styles for the eighties! Dr. Dan Asher, as author of the best-selling "Mellow-Speak" you're something of an authority on the state of the culture. Tell us, what do you see in store for this country in the eighties? Man: Well, Mark, I sense a maturing on the part of the American public. Times are changing, and we're not going to be able to wash away all our troubles with Perrier cocktails anymore... so I think you'll see a big change in attitude. I don't think you'll find people turning up at discos on roller skates anymore. I'm pretty sure that period is over with. I guess the bottom line, Mark, is that Americans will be looking for something more in life. They've simply had enough of hot tubs and ten-speeds! Mark: Beautiful. So what do you think people will be turning to in the eighties? Man: I'd say it's going to be motorized disco skateboards. Mark: My God.. you think they can adjust? Man: They'll have to, Mark. Technology-wise, we're moving into a whole new age!
