"As the weeks passed, Talese grew curious about his fellow massage parlor patrons. He decided to give them the opportunity to confide in him. After months of skillful and sensitive interviews, one of the customers finally revealed that he was middle class and married. Days later, another John confessed that he, too, was middle class and married. Talese knew a trend when he saw one." Mark: Wow. I guess that's the advantage of being a reporter.
