Rev. Sloan: "Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies..." I wonder if the Moral Majority knows about the Bible. Joanie: And Rick and I would just love it if you could perform the ceremony. Rev. Sloan: Me? But wouldn't that be a little awkward, Joanie? Joanie: Awkward? Why would it be awkward, Scot? Sloan: I mean, considering what we once had together... Joanie: Scot, what are you talking about? All we ever did together was go to vespers. Sloan: Oh, c'mon, Joanie, have you forgotten the Jeb Magruder concert? You and I had front row seats for the mea culpa show. Afterwards, we went to that coffee shop and discussed the moral ramifications of Watergate far into the night. Joanie: We did? Sloan: Don't you remember? We talked about loyalty and honor, and I caught you smiling at my intensity. Call me crazy, Joanie, but I think we had something going there. Joanie: Um... Scot, maybe this isn't such a great idea after all... Sloan: Hey, no, I'm cool. If it doesn't embarass you, then no sweat.
