Zonker: You're kind of steamed, aren't you, Mike? Mike: You bet I am. If you ask me, it's a kind of vandalism. It's just not right! Much of the visual appeal of classic films lies in the mastery of the monochromatic scale. Colorizing black -and-white films is a sin against the culture, Zonker. It cheapens the iconography of a great era! We're talking about art, dammit! Zonker: Oh, I thought we were discussing movies.
Some were improved by it actually, but most of the classics were left alone (quite rightly)
