Man: Okay, let's settle down! Hello? One last thing! I'd like to go over the supplemental material reading list for American history 101 this semester. Original source materials are, of course, critical to our understanding of how the office of the presidency has evolved...accordingly, I'm assigning "The Abridged Letters of Thomas Jefferson," which covers both his terms in office...we'll also be reading "The War-Time Correspondence of Abraham Lincoln"..."Woodrow Wilson: Collected Essays," "The Complete Speeches of John F. Kennedy..." and of course, "The Thank-You Notes of George Bush." Person: Sir? The bookstore is out of volume four, "The Wildcat Years"!
