Lacey: (Oh, dear...) Jeremy! What are you doing here? Jeremy: Excellent news, Mrs. D! I had to deliver it in person! I've decided to listen to my heart! And guess what it's shouting! Sausalito! The charming suburb just outside San Francisco! Lacey: I'm not following you, dear. Jeremy: You don't have to. I'm following you back to the bay area! I'm setting up a new base of operations from which to court you! I'm all abuzz over it! Lacey: Jeremy Cavendish! You know perfectly well I don't want to be courted! And I certainly don't appreciate this additional pressure from you! Jeremy: You don't? Lacey: No, I don't. Now go home, Jeremy. Honestly. Jeremy: But..but I can't! I already sold my house at a $300,000 loss! Lacey: A gentleman never discusses money, dear. Jeremy: And I bought a houseboat! And I hate houseboats! What a pickle!
