Ambassador: Hot damn! This has the makin's of a real party! Didn't know they had real booze out here...Sorry I'm late folks! Man: (Who is this man?) Other man: (The new U.S. ambassador excellency.) Ambassador: Got lost comin over here! All the damn streets look the same, and nobody here speaks Anslans! Man: (Political appointee I take it.) Other man: (Yes, sir. He's a real estate developer who raised money for Bush.) Ambassador: What a day I had! Nothin' but hassles from the embassy career stiffs! Man: (Keep him out of the loop. We'll continue to deal directly with the undersecretary for African affairs.) Other man: (Yes sir.) Ambassador: Jealousy is what it is! They don't cotton to people outside their little club! Man: (Meanwhile, he obviously thinks he's in a backwater. Let's oblige him.) Other man: (Yes, sir. I'll arrange daily power and water outages at the embassy.) Ambassador: Well, lemme tell you somethin', chief! I raised $200,000 for George Bush! I paid for this ambassadorship fair and square! Man: (Also, have the local employees strike tomorrow.) Other man: (Very good excellecy.) Ambassador: So! Whadda y'all do for fun around here? Man: (Go ahead your broken English is better than mine.) Other man: We sing, we dance. We are simple people, samb.
