B.D.: What's going on out there? We're going to get another delay of game! Zonker: Well, there's a lot to discuss. Football team captain: How about we go with...nah, that's not right. How about...no, no, that doesn't seem appropriate...um.. Zipper: What's up, skipper? You seem to have lost your confidence. Football team captain: That's not it, Zip. I just can't get my head into the game. It just seems so...so irrelevant! Zipper: Irrelevant to what? Football team captain: To life. I feel like there are more important things I could be doing on a Saturday afternoon, like tutoring a kid or something. Second football player: Hey, me too! I've been yearning for meaning as well! Football team captain: No kidding? Second football player: Definitely. Being just another entertainer seems so pointless. Third football player: It's the competitiveness that gets me down. At a time like this, shouldn't we all be pulling together? Football team captain: There's also the violence. It just seems so gratuitous now... Second football player: Maybe we could change to touch football... Zipper: And not keep score! Referee: tweet! Delay of game! B.D.: I miss September 10th. Zonker: What, like this is new?
The more things change the more they stay the same.
