Voice from television: And it's official - Barack Obama has won... making him the first African-American president in history! Ray: Hoo-ah! Soldier: Son of a gun! What a great, great day! We did it! He's half-white, you know! Ray: You must be so proud.
It was a promising start, I’ll give you that. But the man never had enough experience—I said it back then and I’ll say it now, but he should have finished out at least one term as Senator. I was from Illinois and felt cheated that he immediately started running for President..Five years on,I’m disappointed. Hillary did all his heavy lifting in foreign affairs (even the things that should have been in his purview) and domestically, he couldn’t figure out how to get around Congress even when the Dems were running the show. Didn’t vote for him next time around.
