@gslusher, Personally, I dislike the Red Cross even though I have had friends working for them. The only time I saw them in Korea was as I was leaving, They passed out 50 cent size donuts and a pill cup of cold coffee on the train to Inchon. “Remember all the good things we have done for you and open your wallets when you get home”. A direct quote. A buddy’s father passed away and his sister called to let him know that she had arranged travel, cleared with the military, etc. All that was necessary was the official notification by the Red Cross. It finally came several days after his father’s burial.
