But California, which sorta, kinda, went half-way with medical (Prop.215) but no follow-up regulations to administer and register dispensaries, is still a mess. And despite promises, feds are still sticking their oars in.

Prohibition corrupted the pols, cops, and courts in the twenties, and this one is no different!

So who remembers what year J’ACCUSE was? That was a road trip through Alabama, wasn’t it? The one seed bust? I’m gonna guess 1976.

The sole purpose of drug laws is to oppress and incarcerate African american men and provide a legal excuse to deny them jobs and a decent standard of living.

lol, and then i think about the legal drugs, sugar, coffee, nicotine, high fructose corn syrup. and of course the ones Pharma sells, but we all know Pharma runs the Government nowadays. thank Sen Baucus of Montana for that.

Sugar is by far the worst of these, and then the fat making death enhancing high fructose corn syrup.

legal is a matter of profit in America nowadays. If Business can’t make a profit off of it, it ain’t legal, yet.

If that original was ’73, Zonker is looking in remarkably good shape for his age.

So now, we’re drinking coffee in the kitchen. It was a fun trip for the fifteen minutes it lasted. Zonk, you want to go back and apologize to McFriendly’s and ask for your job back? With a cut in pay?

For people educated in the 21st century, Clever Hans was a “counting horse”. However, he could only “count” when his trainer was present, because the trainer was involuntarily providing visual cues toward the correct response. This could be a problem with “drug-sniffing” dogs if not properly trained. In humans, there was a similar problem with “recovered memories”. People remembered childhood abuse but only when prompted by an overzealous hypnotic therapist.

What a pile of libertarian comments, as if pot is the world’s most important moral issue. Sugar is worse on the social fabric than pot? What blather. In contrast, there’s not one comment about the origin, meaning of, and moral significance of the phrase “J’Accuse.” What a bunch of Duhs you are.

And Zonker’s ultimate moral/lesson learned from those days (daze?) …. will that be repeated? ….. “It may or may not be wrong, but it sure is against the law.”
