Roland: March 25-- Progress up the brain stem is maddeningly slow. Sludge slides block our way at every turn. Finally, we gain a mesa overlooking a sweltering mass of neurons. Sherpa! Sherpa: Sire? Roland: What place is this? Sherpa: It is known as the cerebrum, Sahib. It is where the president does all his critical thinking. Roland: Sounds peaceful enough. Sherpa: Should we set up the base camp, Sahib?
I took 20 years off from reading this strip, mostly because of Trudeau’s violent inability to deal with anything other than extreme left-wingism. I’ve been reading the re-runs for a bit, but now I remember why I stopped. Condescending, patronizing, lib speak at its most extreme.
