Hey, Doc, don’t ruin it for those who haven’t seen the trick.

I love all the smiles in the room. I wish every funeral could be as happy as this one, where they celebrate the man Andy was, instead of who he no longer is.

When my partner passed, we had a celebration of his life and shared stories as well. That’s SO MUCH BETTER then everyone sitting around wailing and weeping…it actually turned into a bit of a party in his honor, which he would have loved, just like Andy.

Looks like Clyde had it right. It was a fun-eral.

A celebration of life party was held in my town for a dying man organized by his wife. That way he got to hear what his friends and family wanted to say while he could appreciate it. He died a few weeks later. I’ve heard that idea is beginning to catch on. Obviously, it’s only possible in certain situations, but it’s a wonderful idea.
