I read “Doonesbury” in my morning paper but only comment (or follow the comments) for the new Sunday episodes. I’d appreciate it if anybody would reform me of the following matter: Has an commenter commented upon Li’l Mikey Pence writing a legendarily stupid and dishonest “smoking doesn’t kill” piece many moons ago?(Not that Mother ALLOWS Li’l Mikey to moon anybody…..or go to the bathroom by himself……..)
I served on a jury once. When we got to the end of the second day of deliberation, one person was holding out on the severity of the assault charge (there were several charges). Everyone said first degree, he said second. Then the person next to him pointed out that there were 15 minutes left in the day, and if we didn’t make a decision, we’d be back tomorrow to continue deliberations. We were back in the courtroom in less than 5, reading our unanimous verdict.

People have told me that William Barr intends to investigate improper conduct in this trial, which may lead to a reversal of the outcome.
