I remember once sitting next to a little boy on a flight. He was visiting his dad in another state and was traveling alone. He had done it so many times that he wasn’t nervous or anything. Chatted non-stop the whole flight. He was sweet. I wonder whatever came of him; he would be a young adult by now.
One of my favorite flying experiences involved Southwest’s open seating policy. I was in Group A, so got my favorite seat closest to the restroom. A bride and groom were later As and sat next to me; the Maid of Honor was a B. Luckily, the second closest seat was still available so it was easy to let them all sit together.

It seems like Ralph would want to move to get away from his wife.

Don’t know of any airlines where there aren’t unassigned seats. If that’s the case why didn’t Honeybunch and Ralph move to first class?
