For three nights this week, Fenway Park will have concerts instead of ball games. All the more reason for the evacuation plan to be in effect.

Cub fans wouldn’t leave even if they were losing by 10 in the ninth inning. Not because Cub fans are so much more dedicated than other fans but because they’ve gotten used to a plethora of weird comebacks and upsets from circumstances that can only be described as “freak”. Case in point: the crazy weather in the 2016 World Series (game 7, no less) that threw the opposing team off balance, resulting in the first Cub victory in 108 years. My poor dad lived to 94 without ever seeing that. Sigh.

That’s only if they run out of beer.

In Miami, for the Marlins game they would have about 10 fans per exit.

I guess we now know that Drabble is in the Los Angeles area. Dodger fans are infamous for coming late and leaving early.

You need to update that left field pavilion scoreboard! It’s been hexagonal for a couple seasons now. Go BLUE!

“A straggling few got up to go, leaving there the rest With the hope that springs eternal within the human breast. For they thought, ’If only Casey could get a whack at that!” Ah, they’d lay down even money now, with Casey at the bat." – Ernest Thayer

Hey—when I went to see my favorite team play earlier this year, we were down by six or seven runs in the bottom of the ninth. I, however, never gave up hope, saying “C’mon, [batter]” for whoever was up.

Lo and behold, we came back with the biggest comeback win I’ve ever seen in person. An awesome game.
