Hmmmm! How many times have ‘you’ actually seen a duck in a sweater walking at the end of a leash?
This strip was probably inspired by something I once read about Alexander Dumas’ son, who walked around with a pet vulture on a leash. And no, he didn’t put a sweater on it.
