In addition, the nose of a dog is more acute than that of a human.

When working as a bank teller, I had the misfortune of having to wait on a gentleman who’d had garlic for lunch. The window opened only so far on each side to prevent theft from the coin tray. Had to step back and take a deep breath before I could finish the transaction.

If this strip had run forty years ago, the dog would be complaining about the smell of cigarette smoke.

Getting an idea of what to have for lunch!

I’ve never had a dog with ‘dog breath’. The occasional ‘kibble breath’ after a meal, but that’s it.

Oh I miss my onion rings something else my old tummy can’t tolerate any longer.

I do this to my dog too. In my defense, he doesn’t lick people. but he loves smelling people’s breaths. He’s a wierdo.
