Drabble’s dog is very, very well trained. Most dogs will go nuts when a pizza delivery man comes to the door. On the other hand Drabble orders so much pizza from his local bakeshop the dog probably knows all the local drivers by scent alone.;-D
Same. My dogs are friendly and every pizza dude/tte that has come by has always been a nice person to my dogs. I already overtip a little since it’s a thankless job, but they get double since there are as equally as many people who are mean to dogs.
Our dogs are fenced and delivery people leave packages outside the fence. I have a container hanging with instructions to give the dogs a treat. Everyone’s really good about it. They still get barked at but only in greeting. One Fed Ex guy even brings his own bisuits.

Speaking as someone who delivers food for two services, it’d be nice to know if this is a common policy.

And will Wally get anything for being a good doggie and not barking at the delivery guy?

Yes, but doubling zero is still zero! (Ralph’s not a tipper)

When I deliver, I remind people to give pizza bones to their dogs (the crusts)

My dogs go nuts when a delivery truck stops in front of or near the house. They don’t wait for anyone to approach the house.
