. Now thank we all our God, with heart and hands and voices, who wondrous things has done, in whom this world rejoices; who from our mothers’ arms has blessed us on our way with countless gifts of love, and still is ours today. [The United Methodist Hymnal Number 102]
Great reply! I used to call one of my kids to come and watch over the food on the stove top if I had to go the bathroom. They weren’t very good at it but now I’m on my own and our dog is on an honor system not to eat out of pans on the stove. (Thanks goodness we only had one that actually did it.)
We used to give our guys some meat during all holidays. NO turkey but chicken, ham, hamburgers etc and they loved it. Each had their own portion of some.

Better NOT keep an eye on the dog. You’ll fall for his “pleading, soulful eyes” routine.;-D

My dog’s a pro. She carries little cards that say “I haven’t eaten in 3 days, please help”…
