1) I’m going to point out that this is, at best, a daily gag that was stretched into a Sunday strip with lazy filler panels.
2) Someone is going to get cheesed off and point out that if I don’t like “Drabble”, I can stop reading it.
3) I’ll reply that criticizing one strip doesn’t mean I hate the whole comic.
4) Someone else will suggest that I make my own comic strip, if I’m so good at it.
5) I’ll reply that my comment did not express or imply the notion that I, a Cyber Security analyst, was better at drawing comic strips than someone who’s been doing it for over 40 years—but I still have a right to comment.
6) Someone else will point out that doing a daily strip is difficult, and I shouldn’t expect every day’s strip to meet my stringent comic requirements.
7) I’ll ignore the sarcasm and point out that this is the career that artist deliberately chose, and no one is forcing him to do it.
8) At this point, the conversation devolves into mere name-calling, and somehow becomes political.
