@Ladyfingers, both of my dogs eat chocolate, and they are not dead. As a matter of fact, I had a collie that would routinely sneak his nose into the candy dish (Hersey’s Kisses usually) when we weren’t looking, and he lived to a ripe old age. Yes, some dogs are allergic to chocolate, but no more so than some humans are allergic to, say, peanuts.
Granted, we don’t just give our dogs chocolate, but they do find ways to get it.
Our 4 year old lab recdently “accessed” a cake that we had mistakenly left on the counter in the box. Our vet indicated that because it was from a nicer restaurant it probably contained bakers chocolate - higher in chocolate content. It causes a dogs heart to race and is really bad for them. We had to induce her to vomit by giving her 3/4 of a teaspoon of hydrogine peroxide - problem solved! I hope Fang doesn’t get the same treatment from Eno!!

Does Target sell lie detectors because my Hersey Chocolate Nuggets are missing and nobody wants to own up to the chicanery.

Chocolate cannot be any worse than all that beer would be to his liver.
