If you’re curious, the whole stake-through-the-heart thing got started because people who genuinely believed in vampires would use stakes to nail the dead bodies of people they suspected were vampires to the ground in their graves. They couldn’t stop the vampires from rising from the dead, but they could keep them in their graves.

I think this Van Helsing wannabe needs to make a run for it, because (a) the vampire appears to be impervious to harm, if you don’t get him right in the heart, and (b) he appears to be out of stakes.

He’s terrible with organs but, ironically, wonderful on the piano.

And you’re using the wrong steak. It should be a ribeye.
