At least it let them down gently and didn’t drop them. They do make a cute couple.

Again, the “get Aaron a scanner” campaign was a success! Aaron now has a scanner. He promises to upload new scans to the Underground “any day now”. Keep an eye out over there for them.

And no, you’re not allowed to stop appreciating his work yet. The hard parts are still coming out.

The creature sure is spiffy And quick to bear defenses Reacting in a jiffy— I wonder how it senses? I won’t go chase that thought down For I do realize What’s common here in Endtown Are beasts with lots of eyes! They’ve got ‘em tucked in places You might think rather strange The monster can’t make faces But plague can sure make change! =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum

The Endtown mini-comic that I produced for Comicpalooza 2011 is now available to YOU for the offensively low price of $2.50 (price includes s&h, international add $1 for each copy ordered ). Besides sporting a snazzy full color cover, it contains an all-new 22 page story that is available nowhere else. And just because I feel like doing it, I’ll sign and personalize (if desired) each and every copy I mail out. Simply pay via PayPal using my email address, aaronneathery@gmail.com, and be sure to include your mailing address. If you can’t pay with PayPal, send payment to:Aaron NeatheryPO Box 920558Houston, TX 77292And, just so you know, I’m completely open to donations. The cat and mouse that live in my head will thank you. :-)

I’m starting to tune in to the general vibe of Endtown. It’s not about good vs evil. It’s about a Wounded Land – an environment and its people who, by and large, are hurt and frightened and angry. The world’s gotten all screwed up and needs to be untangled and unknotted. Taking the wider view, Holly’s clear-sighted solution to this latest conflict is a better approach than a blaster. There’s more future in it. In a similar way, Wally’s reluctance to kill, even the respect for life shown by Al and Gustine, is where the real hope lies for survival of everyone – mutants, monsters and topsiders.

By the way, I drew a nifty little picture of Wally and Holly in a lover’s cuddle, ’cause I adore them so much. Go to the Endtown Underground site at http://s4.zetaboards.com/Endtown/topic/8973842/2/

Apparently those claw-like things are its eyes and not claws. They’re not built to grasp, and all the grasping has been done by the stalks wrapping around things. They’re angled in a way that shows they’re “looking” at Wally, Holly, and the bear, while setting them down.

That poor teddybear doesn’t look very happy…Can’t help wondering if that’s a little “love heart” I see in the first panel, just below the teddy’s ear…

So why does it want a teddy bear?
