Wally is hoping that Flask has left the ship and is no longer his problem. Or has accidentally stuck her tongue in a power outlet and is no longer anyone’s problem.

Yeah, but there’s also Ditto’s. And Ditto’s are not fun when they get mad.

So… does Aaron Marx have limitations? Vulnerabilities? Could this all go horribly wrong? Destruction of the control room?Has Captain Flask’s dumpster garbage machine gun been recently cleaned and serviced? Could that go wrong, too?

That plant doesn’t look very normal. Flask may not want to walk near it.

So Flask has a plan. Her plan to take out the rocket (which she was familiar with) worked out real well (NOT). Her plan to convict A&G worked out well (so NOT). Now she has a plan to …do something… onboard a ship she knows nothing about, with no intel, and against an opfor that knows she is around. My guess is Flask maintains her perfect record.

Actually, no one has to be optimistic. There’s no story requirement that at least one character has to be “happy-go-lucky” [except among bad writers]. And as you point out, Wally’s optimism is foolish, very foolish. It’s almost unforgivable when you consider how well he knows Flask by now. Petey’s absolutely right. Flask “just exploring” the ship? Ridiculous! She never does anything without a purpose.On another note, just curious: your NIV quote doesn’t quite seem to fit. Could you expand on that a little better?

Is anyone else having trouble getting to the topwebcomics site today? I’m trying to vote (and thanks to LevelHead for the daily link!) but having no luck! Augh?

Why can I hear “Ride of the Valkyries”?!

It is also possible that Flask is just preparing for the next inevitable run in with the Topsiders and is not planing anything against the ship or it’s occupants. Or she is preparing in case Manx turns out to be evil. I admit that these options are unlikely but Flask does strike me as the sort of person who expects the worst and tries to be prepared.

I’m pretty sure that whatever she’s planning will turn out at least as bad as everything else up to this point.

Oh and I am also pretty sure AM has no intentions of being manipulated. He is a manipulator, not a manipulatee. ;-)

A plan: What Arron Marx and the rest of the gang must do is find her by surprise (if she doesn’t surprise then first), throw another ditto ball (like he did with Wally & Holly), and when she wakes up from her dark flashback…well, let’s hope Arron has some kind of tube (like the freezing tubes on Lost In Space ) to put her in just case she goes pyshco on everyone on board that ship!

Good, I forgot for a minute about they have a guy with them that has dittoes. How do they stand up to being shot through?She sure had bad news all over her.

The GoComics contest is working again!GoComics is celebrating getting 10,000 likes on Facebook. The idea is to comment to their blog entry saying what you’re favorite GoComics webcomic is. First 3 people selected by drawing get some books and artwork. Grand Prize winner gets a 10-minute skype conversation with the artist of the comic you choose. Some people put in a full list of what they read, but that just confuses things. I suggest just listing one comic. Preferably Endtown. This is a free and easy way to help give Aaron some visibility.
