With a murder trial, and such a high-profile one, I’d expect the jury to be sequestered. We’ll see. Poor Heather… Looking at her body language she’s still withdrawn and simply enduring her current circumstance with rigid self-control. If she’s called to testify I wonder if she’ll refuse or explode from all her pent-up feelings.
With the balloons and streamers hanging about I think they are throwing Ms Hoss a surprise birthday party. I know they celebrate a good court win but decorate after the trial. Then again Ms Hoss may maybe the piñata.xD
Just throwing this out there… Aside from Doc’s analysis of the bones, we actually don’t have any confirmation, that the cannibals are wolves or for that matter – carnivores. If there are any dentists left in Endtown, then a pair of false teeth could be used to leave the appropriate markings by anybody. …. Don’t look at me like this, it’s a POSSIBILITY! :)
If the jury is already decided, that would explain the nervous look on the wolf’s face when everyone else was staring daggers. He knows it’s fixed and he’s afraid to say anything. They may not be bought, but they’re still be pre-judicial.
Jury isn’t fixed – it’s made up of a group of Heather’s peers. Mainly, people that have also been at the receiving end of the wolve’s animosity and “joyful, fun-loving nature.” But, if the wolves really do think they’re being targeted here, then maybe what they really are, is rednecks.
This might be a good place to refer to the classic National Lampoon article, by Henry Beard and John Weidman, on “The Law of the Jungle,” or lex biologica: http://www.molokaiadvertiser-news.com/Law_of_the_Jungle.pdf

Is it a bought jury or just that anti-wolf prejudice is that high in Endtown?

I guess they’re not gonna sequester this jury.

Too bad Endtown doesn’t have surveillance cameras. There was no murder! You play with fire….you’re going to get burned….to a crisp.

Here is the thing. Act like jerks long enough and you can turn those without an opinion against you. I think the Wolves have pissed everyone off.
