About Everyday People Cartoons
Hello.
My name is Cathy Thorne. I write and draw Everyday People, cartoons about women, and the people who love and annoy them.
I created my first cartoon in 1999, at the age of 32, during my graduating year at The Art Centre in Toronto.
So you don't have to do the math, that makes me 50-years-old.
I practice yoga, drink green smoothies and try to live in the moment.
I've also been known to eat a large bag of BBQ chips in one sitting while watching sitcom reruns.
I live on a quiet street in Toronto with my husband and our school-aged daughter and son, who provide me with insights, challenges and laughter to inspire a lifetime's worth of cartoons.
