Ames says, "Agatha, I install gardens. Selling Mrs. Yardly a do-it-yourself garden book isn't helpful." Agatha says, "I know Doris Yardly. You wait." Tree's Trees Nursery Agatha says, "Hello again, Doris." Woman says, "According to this book..." How To garden Woman says, "I need shovels, hoes, mulch, seeds and really good gloves." Agatha says, "My son-in-law will ring you up."
She’ll be back again once she realizes how much physical work is involved in creating a garden—says this 76 y/o woman who has established 6 decorative brick lined planters (for roses, fruit trees, and butterfly gardens), reducing her lawns to 1/3 their original size, and who has now taken over maintenance and replanting of her church’s Medication Garden. I love doing it, but I doubt Mrs. Yardly has the least idea of what she’s getting into!
