Twig says, "Then I'd owe her even more chores." Emily says, "Offer her this as an alternative." Maggie says, "I am not home schooling you!!" Twig says ,"It's on you if I turn to drugs and crime."

I rode the bus for all 12 years of school, (didn’t go to kindergarten), except for certain times in high school when I needed to be somewhere besides home right after school. I was too much of a tightwad to buy gas (it had gone up to .50/gal), to drive the 20 miles or so one way and my folks sure weren’t going to do it with the farm and all. Now many years later, I drive a bus to school every day. ;)

but mom would have to quit her job, then who is going to pay for all the clothes Twig wants and her spending money – she did not think this one out at all
