Yes, I don’t like their new format either. And one thing I REALLY don’t like: it used to be if you were in another room and had the channel on, and there was a weather alert, they had an “alarm” go off and a ticker ran across the bottom of the screen, so you knew to come in the room and check. Now there is no signal, and you have to be there watching it if you want to know.
I don’t think I’ve tuned into the Weather Channel in years, which, coincidentally, is how long it’s been since they were all weather all the time 24/7. Not only the inundation with LG reality shows and videos, but also an unscientific attachment to AGW. When they stop being political and go back to the weather, I may watch … but since they’re now owned by NBC, I don’t see that happening in my lifetime.
