All too true – my dad lost his filter and made things really uncomfortable for anyone listening. And the sad part is, he didn’t know he was talking out loud. Any thought that crossed his mind, came right out of his mouth. But then, he was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.
The youthful version of that is initiated by overconsumption of alcohol and usually involves standing on a table and telling everybody in the room what you think of them. If you’re lucky, the table will break and you’ll be a YouTube star.
