How does one get in these predicaments?

Depending on the neighbor, I would go stand by and laugh, or I would ignore him.

You can pick your friends, and you can pick your battles, but you can’t pick your friends’ battles.

No gag, just advice.

Bad attitude. I took a “fall safety” course. Twenty minutes in such a position could lead to permanent damage to the body. Help first, worry about embarrassment later. I understand it is supposed to be a joke but it is a reflection of our “stand by and shoot video” society.
