For myself, I’m thankful there weren’t cell phones around when I was a child in the 60’s. Of course I have a cell phone now. But I turn it off when I get home. I don’t need to be connected 24/7.And now I see my grandchildren pick up objects and say hello like it’s a phone. Times, they are a changing.

wHAT?

Back when I was a teenager, AOL was the thing. And no “unlimited data, usage” was around. We got charged by the minute back then. So dad used his computer only for work. Well, one day, mom and dad took an overnight trip, and my brother got online to play a game. Boy was dad mad when he got the phone bill! That game ended up costing dad over $200 just for the time played. Can you imagine if you got billed by the minute just for using your cell phone?

It’s sad that people can’t just read a simple, innocuous comic without having to interject politics into it. I’m starting to wonder if those that do that, are feeling so irrelevant, and lacking in attention, that it’s the only way they can seem to get any.
