That kind of thing happened to me when I was 4. My mother wanted to go visit my aunt and I was pretending to sleep. She tried to “wake” me but I resisted, so she left. Right after that, I was crying and watching her go down the street toward the train station. Taught me a lesson. I hope Lizzie learned it too.
