My husband did ride-sharing (really he bummed rides to work) and when the busses were better, he took them instead. He always left me with the car, as we had two kids at home. If he’d taken the car, there would have been no doctor appointments kept, groceries bought, or errands run during the day. Our weekends would have been spent doing all those things, if it was even possible.
