John: I forgot I was "on call" tonight. Better charge up the phone. I'm exhausted. I hope there are no emergencies. It's a beautiful, clear, warm evening. People tend not to focus on toothaches on evenings like this. ...They wait until midnight - and then they call you!
I would never call a dentist for an after hours emergency unless I lost a tooth in an accident, and time was of the essence. Toothaches don’t typically just suddenly appear after hours. With some ibuprofen, those should wait until the next day.
